Me, myself & I
"i am free to be who i really am... no pretenses, no broken promises, no fear... just a life packed with hopelessness and unattainable dreams, 'cause im just livin' like i shld... my life..." everyone has hopes and dreams but dun they know that hope is the denial of reality and that dreams will forever be just dreams? Saturday, December 31, 2005 [311205] Just woke up not long ago... reached home around 0430 hrs after catching midnight show at Cathay Cineleisure with Qin Hao after going for NPCC Nite, quite a disappointment for the inaugural event at NPCC HQ, perhaps it was the place.. too formal and uptight even with the "make-over" it's still HQ... we can take pictures at the Range *WOW!!!* 'i've always wanted to have my pics taken at the range.. yeah right... *rolls eyes*
MC was lame, games played was lame, food sucked and the fans didnt seem to be doing their jobs.. the company at least wasnt that bad... but after recieving QH's sms, straight away went off and met him at Novena.. decided on Chronicles of Narnia (Digital) at 0040 hrs.. hmm.. so what's the freakin' diff between the CoN i watched and the 'normal' CoN at 0310 hrs?? The digital CoN well didnt seem to be any different from any other film i've seen before.. Well it's New Year's Eve today.. and many ppl would be off to celebrate the coming of 2006.. it has got me wondering who the heck decided to celebrate the coming of the new year?? what's the significance of it if anything? My guess, it's just another day to hold a party, get urself high, drunk, laid.. whatever etc etc blah blah blah... with the coming of the new year, New year's resolutions are a norm... but most of the time, aftering writing it, we just chuck in all the way in the back of the mind and we're left with oops... i didnt fulfill my New Year's Resolution.. to carry on this proud tradition, i shall write down my very own New Year's Resolution.. *ahem* here goes: 1. GRADUATE (4 years too long in SP) 2. Lose weight (65kg would be ideal) 3. Pass Out from NPCC (A few more months... and i'll be gone... been 8 years too many) 4. Move on with my life... (void void void... emptiness, sian-ness) Chronicles of Narnia, a children's novel by L.S Lewis, The Lion, The Witch and The Warobe... hmmm.. the story's well very children oriented with many subtle notions of moral values of scarifice, family love and forgiveness. The story's pretty ok.. but quite what you would expect from any children's film, happy ending at the end... The fight scenes were decent but i think any and all fantasy films would now have to live under the shadow of Lord of The Rings as the benchmark for cinematography, music score, screenplay (adpated one abeit that) and general feel has been set by Peter Jackson's Magnificent trilogy... All in all, CoN a decent film but nothing spectacular that i've not already seen... Chronicles of Narnia - 3 popcorns out of 5 |
