Me, myself & I
"i am free to be who i really am... no pretenses, no broken promises, no fear... just a life packed with hopelessness and unattainable dreams, 'cause im just livin' like i shld... my life..." everyone has hopes and dreams but dun they know that hope is the denial of reality and that dreams will forever be just dreams? Thursday, March 29, 2007 [290307] a boring day
yep, it's thursday and surprise surprise im home tonight... had to come back to get my work attire for tomorrow's shift after booking out... back to marche and back to work again... not that im complaining or anything, i only need to think of the additional income... speaking of income, last month's pay still hasnt been credited yet! those swines! let's hope it's coming soon... Syarif, the acting coy CSM gave each instructor from each platoon a scheduled half day off yesterday so at 1230, bathed and headed out to camp... felt real darn good to be walking out of camp at 1230, the feeling is so uplifting and cheerful... didnt want to waste my halfday off going home and slack so activated redfox to walk around town... the weather was HOT! i miss the rainy season already... couldnt stand it and took a cab down to Jurong Point... headed down to Orchard and walked around Wisma while waiting for redfox to arrive... headed over to Taka but decided that there wasnt really much to look at, so decided to head over to Lucky Plaza.. yep, Lucky Plaza... talked cock and came upon the topic of perfumes.. hmm... what the heck, went to reccee Hugo Boss Bottled at Dollars & Scent... since working now, ammo all full, it was a no brainer... swiped the card and poof! Turion came out of the shop $55 poorer... Dined at Far East before heading over to Party World... yep, we were THAT BORED... 2 guys singing KTV for 4 hours... sad, yep... i know but what to do? Pass time loh... sang, shouted and screamed our way through tons of classic chinese songs as well as the latest hits, quite fun lah but a personal note to self: try not to do that ever again. today also marks the day when the ERS trainees finally pass out as ERS Sergeants... my former platoon mates would all be recieving their SGT ranks today after undergoing the 6 month course... im kinnda envious of their position, i shld have been with them alas, my eyes failed me... though if i had gone into ERS, i wouldnt have gone for the trip to Newcastle nor would i have been working... hmmm.. pros and cons... life in camp is getting more and more unbearable... haiz... 18 more months to ORD, counting down... |
