"i am free to be who i really am... no pretenses, no broken promises, no fear... just a life packed with hopelessness and unattainable dreams, 'cause im just livin' like i shld... my life..." everyone has hopes and dreams but dun they know that hope is the denial of reality and that dreams will forever be just dreams?

[100308] another job scope added to our ever evolving vocation

Today is a monumental day in my life as an instructor. Another job scope has been 'proudly' added to our already ridiculously long list of job scopes that defines our vocation as a instructor in BRTC, A COY. Let's review the list shall we? We're *Takes a deep breath* babysitter, nanny, general technician, janitor, nutritionist, personal trainer, disciplinarian, part time unqualified medic, counselor, motivator, leader, role model, & teacher. Today, we add gardener to the list. *wild applause*

Today is the vetting for tomorrow's enlistment of new recruits. Pots of flowers and plants are specially brought into the Multi purpose hall to lend a soft touch of nature to an otherwise rather dull and boring
looking stage. It is at this point that my OC proceeds to baffle me like he has never baffled me before.

OC: "Damian, get some scissors and trim the flowers abit. Make sure that they're not too untidy. And the fallen and decomposing leaves at the base of the pot, make sure you remove them.
Damian: *stunned* "Well sir, I AM Pretty sure that they didnt cover this during the refresher course and honestly speaking im not trained to trim or prune these plants. Maybe i should MIB this to the manage
ment, enroll instructors in gardening classes and while we're at it we might as well learn how to do flower arrangement." (conveyed in sarcastic tone)

WTF??!? sad, i know. sigh.

Cousin's Wedding was a blast. Being the bestman was tremendously rewarding, having a pretty bridesmaid to work along with didnt hurt... haha.. Looking forward to my second stint as the bestman for my bro's wedding in May. Food as usual was superb. I'll just leave you guys to drool over my culinary adventure over the 4 days.

Simple fare of chicken noodles.@ Bumbu Desa, buffet styled eatery.
Chilli Galore!!!Ayam goreng and Ayam Bakar. So crisp that the bones can be eaten.
I personally think that noodles in Indonesia are better than any noodles you can find in SG.
A long lost friend. I miss having A&W. Connie dogs, curly fries and rootbeer floats rulez!
