[300808] blast from the past

i've been reliving my childhood this past week going through hours of videos on youtube, remember all the cartoons that we watched while growing up? Those endless battles between the forces of good and evil that enthralled us every afternoon and every Saturday morning, the ones that compelled us to pester our parents to buy accompanying action figures?

cartoons that i watched while growing up, while the graphics and animation aint nothing to shout about, they are deeply embedded in my memories, i grew up watching it or rather, these cartoons grew up with me. They're just a part of me as anything else. Been hooked on the 'modern' version of the transformers as well. Transformers Animated. (duh! it's an animated show already, ppl know that...)

a much revamped version with more quirks and punchlines as well as an interesting storyline that led me to spend a better part of 2 days watching all 26 episodes. I love me anime and cartoons, we all grow up but there's always a kid left in us. Glad some things never change, all these cartoons are accompanied by the same old whining and pestering by kids to their parents to buy the action figures.
