[310307] Egg crack day

It's been another year... would be 22 years old as of 1615 hrs today... 11/50th of a century year old... birthdays are always a good time to reflect and look back upon what we've done for the past year... last year this time, i was working (im still working abeit at different establishments), i was instructing (im still instructing but im instructing recruits instead of cadets), was single (im still single... hmm.. notice a pattern here?)

Just goes to show that a whole year has passed without any significant breakthroughs or changes to my life... just that my Identity Card is now blue and more commonly known as a 11B or that my house has now become more of a place to rest, sleep and eat during the weekends rather than serving its actual purpose - that of a home...

Gonna be working later on, yeah yeah... no life, working on one's birthday but for those who know me long enough, i dun place much significance in my birthday... havent really celebrated it since primary school... most memorable birthday celebrations were my 19th with Area2 CIs underneath a void deck and a simple celebration with her and last year's when my kids (my cadets i mean) bought a cake and celebrated during training... hmm... good things happen perhaps only on odd birthdays... maybe next year's would be interesting...

oh, the pay came in... and they actually have a pay slip as well... very nicely done up... erm... i know, i sound overly excited over a pay slip but it beats TCC's or CBTL's hands down... swee lah, on a bad note, Owen's last day is on Sunday... one man down again... sianz... cause they've gone... gone... gone... gone... gone...

thanks to all who remembered and for the well wishes - DUDE, CX, ES, Ekkk-Din, Sham among others... heh... but u know what i like best about my birthday? The customary mee sua in the morning by my mum and of course, the red packets.. heh... cheers...
