"i am free to be who i really am... no pretenses, no broken promises, no fear... just a life packed with hopelessness and unattainable dreams, 'cause im just livin' like i shld... my life..." everyone has hopes and dreams but dun they know that hope is the denial of reality and that dreams will forever be just dreams?

[221007] Damn Brits cant do anything right~~

What was to become an epic treble for British sportsmen instead became a disaster as all 3 challenges fell flat with egg on their faces as they pack their backs and prepares to go back home to the misty, gloomy and rainy island they call home.

1st: After 5 successive 3-0 victories the 3 Lions proceeded to lose 2-1 to Russia to throw the qualification race for Euro 2008 into doubt. This would have cemented what we FOOTBALL fans knew all along, Stevie McClaren knows nuts about management. Perhaps he should have been paying attention and followed what all former Assistant Managers have known - The step up into management especially Internationally aint easy. Now, England could be looking at not qualifying for Euro 08 at all, in such cases where your own destiny isnt in your own 2 hands anymore. Usually the worst case scenario happens. I hardly doubt that Russia would struggle against Andorra and Macedonia. Stepping down would be the most grace saving gesture from McClaren. Eriksson's shite but at least we qualified for the last 3 international tournaments and managed to get through to the quarters in each one. There aint a better time than now to say goodbye, Stevie. Na-na-na-na
Na-na-na-na, hey hey hey, good byeeeee.... *waves*

2nd: After an emphatic win over their historical rivals from across the channel. English Rugby boys fell at the final hurdle to lose against the South African Springbok. Johnny sadly failed to deliver and the defending champs goes out at the final hurdle. What a sad sad sad day for English sport.

3rd: Lastly, rookie debutant Lewis Hamilton COULD have been the youngest grand prix driver and COULD have won the championship in his debut season but for an excellent and near flawless victory by Kimi Raikkonen in the Brazillian grand prix. He could have clinched it if he finished third but as the sporting gods would have it, it didnt happen. Hamilton finished a lowly 7th to end up joint 2nd with his arch nemesis Fernando Alonso who ironically finished in the 3rd place that he would have needed to win the championship. what a joke.

Murphy's Law evidently strikes again. ANYTHING THAT CAN GO WRONG WILL GO WRONG.

Came across an article from last week's New Paper. Murphy's Law @ work.

1. The more shit you put up with, the more shit you'll get.
2. Never be irreplaceable. If you cant be replaced, you cant be promoted.
3. You can get anywhere you want if you look serious and have a clipboard.
4. A pat on the back is only a couple of centimetres from a kick in the ass.
5. Eat a live toad first thing in the morning and nothing else at work later can be worse.

I LOVE MURPHY's LAW...
They define our very existence in this world, giving us explanations for everything.
