Finally after all the waiting managed to go and watch THE GUARDIAN... nope, it's not yet out but i couldnt wait and after realising that Cathay was showing the sneak peaks, went to watch straight away... reached Causeway early and decided to settle for lunch at Pastamania before walking aimlessly around... not exactly aimlessly as i splurged on the new Football Manager series and a new book... so all in all a good day... anyways, back to the movie itself...

THE GUARDIAN is definately better than UMIZARU though both shows were about rescue divers and both featured the same general ideas, plot and endings, i felt THE GUARDIAN did a better job in potraying the spirit and general feel of these day to day heroes. It was surprising to see Ashton Kutcher acting in a drama though i think he did a reasonable job at it... but the plot was kinnda simple, linear and predictable... i correctly predicted the ending but not taking credit away from the film which i felt was definately worth it... thumbs up... the theme song, Never Let Go by Bryan Adams adds a nice touch to the entire film... very appropriate song...
