Me, myself & I
"i am free to be who i really am... no pretenses, no broken promises, no fear... just a life packed with hopelessness and unattainable dreams, 'cause im just livin' like i shld... my life..." everyone has hopes and dreams but dun they know that hope is the denial of reality and that dreams will forever be just dreams? Sunday, December 16, 2007 [161207] Long ass weekend...
Caught Alvin and the Chipmunks on friday with clan. The chipmunks were adorable as were their singing but after a while, it's just plain annoying and irritating. It aint just annoying and irritating it's those kind that get under your skin kinda irritating... Plot was a wash out and ending kinnda sucked. But then again, if you were watching this in the first place, i seriously doubt you were anticipating an Oscar winning movie were you? Alvin and the Chipmunks - 2 popcorns out of 5 Estb. since 2000 There's a saying that goes that a woman looks her darn best on her wedding day. It's freaking true even though yesterday wasnt miss yee's wedding day but rather a wedding reception for her friends, classmates and colleagues here in singapore, she looked absolutely radiant and pretty. It was almost a freaking alumni gathering seeing that there must be at least 100 - 200 students, past and present just gathered there to congratulate her. A testament to her popularity as a lecturer. Loved & adored by the masses.. haha.. Had dinner and chilled at Coffee Club in Habourfront, caught up with everyone. Just a nice simple class gathering. How much more enjoyable can it get? Headed back to yishun to catch The Golden Compass. Some concepts of the show are interesting. I personally find the idea of a demon endearing and interesting. But the show seemed rather rushed and the ending seems a bit of a anti-climatic. This said, look carefully at the ice bears if you watch the movie. does it remind you of something? Reminded me of the coca-cola campaign a few years back.. i swear them bears look alike! |
